Creole Seasoning
  • 3 T. paprika (can use some smoked, but not too much. it is really powerful)
  • 2 T. salt
  • 2 T. garlic powder
  • 1 T. black powder, freshly ground if possible
  • 1 T. Oregano
  • 1 T. Thyme
  • 1 T. Onion powder
  • 1 T. Hot Pepper flakes (more if you like it hot!)


  1. Mix all ingredients together and store using an airtight jar (like a canning jar or old spice bottle), this will make about 2/3 of a cup. Add to recipe to taste.
