Chocolate Cherry Upside Down Cake
Ingredients
- 2-1/4 cup flour
- 1-1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1-1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/4 cup vinegar (white)
- 1 can cherry pie filling
Instructions
- Spread pie filling in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients and set aside
- In another bowl, mix the remaining ingredients
- Add liquid to dry mixture, stir to moisten
- Carefully pour batter over cherries
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in the pan, then invert on a platter
